DeLille en Ville

Project Overview

DeLille Enville is a 6,785 SF restaurant in Seattle’s University Village and a great example of what happens when everyone pulls in the same direction. We were brought into the project early through a negotiated approach and worked side by side with the design team, Design Well Spent, from the start. That early alignment gave us the room to take on a major round of value engineering. We were able to bring the numbers in line while keeping the design team’s vision and the owner’s goals fully intact.

The project also came with some real technical hurdles. The mechanical and plumbing systems were complex and parts of the plumbing could only be completed by tunneling below the structural slab. It was a challenge that required patience, planning and a lot of coordination but the team worked through it step by step.

All of that effort paid off. The finished restaurant offers four spaces that each have their own mood. There is the main bar and dining area, a bright solarium dining room, a more private back dining area with its own dining room and a hidden speakeasy with a dedicated bar. DeLille Enville turned out to be a beautiful space and the teamwork behind it is a big part of why it works so well.
